Riversedge Developments worked with Pentomic to reimagine and position Searchmont as the Midwest’s premier winter destination. Conducting interviews with partners, employees, (a former owner), local municipalities, and winter sport enthusiasts, we developed a narrative connecting an audience that values authenticity and discovery to big backcountry experiences.

Positioned to locals as “Your backyard just got bigger”, and to visitors as “The biggest backcountry spirit in the Midwest” the new positioning informed a kinetic identity built on bold typography, big colour, and, vibrant imagery.

Working with Tunndra to develop an online platform that coupled emotive online experience with a user-friendly, frictionless backend we minimized “wait time” while maximizing “play time” to drive increases in bookings, sales, and conversion rates.
