The team from Oppshot approached Pentomic to design an interface, interaction, and brand identity system that delivers on the promise of informing, focusing, and closing sales.

 

Developed for Sales Professionals as a mobile predictive opportunity management solution, Oppshot uses a propriety algorithm to rate interactions based on email, phone, and meeting outcomes as positive, negative or no effect to develop an Oppscore, a realistic indicator of the potential sales opportunity.

 

Oppshot founders knew firsthand the challenges of juggling multiple sales opportunities and worked at developing an application that prioritizes opportunities based on deal size and interaction history to inform and focus next steps in the sales cycle.

OPPSCORE

Designed to inform at glance, the Oppscore is a small, visually expressive widget that algorithmically “grades” an opportunity from +10 to -10 based on sales interaction patterns.

IDENTITY

The Oppshot name was developed through the generative exploration of how sales intelligence is  valued in the  market and realized with a contemporary logotype that references both the eye of an owl and a shot making its mark fusing both the linguistic and visual associations of the brands defining attributes.

Opportunity and actionable insight were defining drivers informing Oppshot as the portmanteau of opportunity + slapshot.
